Hello, my name is Bob Fournier and I live in Hudson, NH. I called Precision Door and requested a telephone estimate on the replacement of the bottom seal on my 45 year old 9 ft. garage door. I received a telephone conversation estimate, that I felt was very fair and proceeded to schedule an appointment. The scheduled appointment with the repair person, was set for today (9/07/23) and I was notified twice to confirm an approximate arrival time. The Repair Person was precisely on time and completed the replacement of the door seal, as requested. The Service and Price was exceptional!! I would not hesitate in using Precision in the future, if ever needing garage door service/repair.

Charged me $130 to unplug my garage door opener and plug it back in. Guy was here for 30 seconds. Literally could have told me to do this over the phone.
I just listened to the recording of the call you had with our scheduling team (which I would be happy to share with you). Given what I heard on that call, you seem completely unjustified in calling our company a derogatory name and giving us such a negative review. For the record, you called us to look at your garage door opener, which YOU thought had a "fried circuit board" your words in the phone call. Our team was completely upfront and told you that we can't diagnose garage door or opener issues over the phone – there are simply too many things to test. Additionally, when you set up the appointment you agreed to pay the $130 service fee, which not only got our technician to your home at the date and time of your choice but paid for the diagnosis of the door and operator. Our technician determined that your operator was fine, all it needed was a reset. So, he performed the reset (unplugged your machine, waited the appropriate time, then plugged it back in, and tested to make sure it worked properly). All said we were there for nearly an hour. That’s what we did. How does this warrant such a negative review and calling us a slanderous name? We feel we treated you with respect and honesty, which is how we do business every day. We are sorry that the fix was so easy that you felt taken advantage of... clearly we feel we did what we were asked to do.

This morning, Paul came by our house to look at the decorative inserts on our two garage doors. We were considering replacing them, if possible. Paul drove all the way from the MA/CT border to see us in Nashua, and he did not charge us for the estimate/evaluation. He showed us how to remove the inserts without breaking them, and we discussed options, since the company that had made them went out of business. Paul was very helpful, and we appreciated that he drove so far in order to meet with us for a short time.

Our 25 year old garage door opener finally quit on a minus 14 degree morning. Your technician was here within a few days. No parts were available for the old opener but he had new openers with him and he installed the new one, adjusted the opener and the door, and programed the remotes. He arrived here on time, actually was early, and did an excellent job. He was here on another warm, minus 12 degree morning, but he never skipped a beat! Thank you.
