Charged me $130 to unplug my garage door opener and plug it back in. Guy was here for 30 seconds. Literally could have told me to do this over the phone.
I just listened to the recording of the call you had with our scheduling team (which I would be happy to share with you). Given what I heard on that call, you seem completely unjustified in calling our company a derogatory name and giving us such a negative review. For the record, you called us to look at your garage door opener, which YOU thought had a "fried circuit board" your words in the phone call. Our team was completely upfront and told you that we can't diagnose garage door or opener issues over the phone – there are simply too many things to test. Additionally, when you set up the appointment you agreed to pay the $130 service fee, which not only got our technician to your home at the date and time of your choice but paid for the diagnosis of the door and operator. Our technician determined that your operator was fine, all it needed was a reset. So, he performed the reset (unplugged your machine, waited the appropriate time, then plugged it back in, and tested to make sure it worked properly). All said we were there for nearly an hour. That’s what we did. How does this warrant such a negative review and calling us a slanderous name? We feel we treated you with respect and honesty, which is how we do business every day. We are sorry that the fix was so easy that you felt taken advantage of... clearly we feel we did what we were asked to do.

This morning, Paul came by our house to look at the decorative inserts on our two garage doors. We were considering replacing them, if possible. Paul drove all the way from the MA/CT border to see us in Nashua, and he did not charge us for the estimate/evaluation. He showed us how to remove the inserts without breaking them, and we discussed options, since the company that had made them went out of business. Paul was very helpful, and we appreciated that he drove so far in order to meet with us for a short time.

I just wanted to start off by saying your technician Justin was awesome. He replaced the springs in a timely manner and made sure everything was adjusted properly. Top notch guy! I give him 5 stars. Now for my overall opinion of your service. First off $135 for a service visit? Obviously I knew that I needed springs replaced but I had no idea how much the total price was going to be. By charging $135 upfront, you are able to charge whatever you want for the repairs once your tech arrives and determines the issue. $635 for replacing 2 springs is a little high considering those springs probably cost less than $100 each. Being more upfront with your customers about a price “range” would be much more appropriate. Also your invoices are not itemized properly. You show quantity but there is no mention of price per item. Would I use your service again? Yes I would, if time didn’t allow me to do the repairs myself.

Our 25 year old garage door opener finally quit on a minus 14 degree morning. Your technician was here within a few days. No parts were available for the old opener but he had new openers with him and he installed the new one, adjusted the opener and the door, and programed the remotes. He arrived here on time, actually was early, and did an excellent job. He was here on another warm, minus 12 degree morning, but he never skipped a beat! Thank you.

I called because my 15 year old opener quit working. I expected a several day wait and was very surprised they fit me in the next day. Justin called and asked to come early (bonus!). Justin was professional and had our new opener installed in no time. He also supplied me with a list of things that will need replacement but told me to hold off due to the cost.
